- Ford Otosan Says Recall Won't Affect Exports
ISTANBUL (IHA) - Turkish car company Ford Otomotiv Sanayii AS (FROTO.IS), or Ford Otosan, Monday said recalls of Ford Transit Connect small commercial vehicles over an interior lining adjustment won't hurt the firm's export operations.
In a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Ford Otosan said production and shipments will continue as planned.
Ford Otosan, a joint venture between Turkish conglomerate Koc Holding AS (KCHOL.IS) and Ford Motor Co. (F), sells products and services in the U.K., Spain, Germany, France and Italy, as well as Turkey.
