İSTANBUL (İHA) - The Turkish central bank Friday boosted market liquidity by selling 6 billion Turkish lira ($3.87 billion) in a repurchase agreement auction.

Bids totaled TRY12.530 billion. The average simple interest rate was 7.00% and the average compound rate was 7.25%.

The repo matures July 16.

At the last repo, held Thursday, the central bank sold TRY2 billion at an average simple interest rate of 7.00%.
