TURKEY SELLS TRY1.735B OF DISCOUNT REFERENCE BONDS

İSTANBUL (İHA) - The Turkish treasury said Monday it has sold 1.735 billion Turkish lira ($1.116 billion) of 6-month discount reference bonds at an auction.

Bids totaled TRY3.136 billion in the auction, with nominal sales totaling TRY1.8 billion. The average compound interest was 7.94% and the average price was TRY96.250.

As previously announced by the treasury, it will sell 21-month, discount, state notes July 13.

It will reopen three-year, fixed-coupon, state notes July 26 and sell 12-month, discount, reference bonds and seven-year, floating-rate notes July 27.
