- Turkish Central Bank Buys $30M At TRY1.5305

ISTANBUL (IHA) - The Turkish central bank Friday bought $30 million at an average price of TRY1.5305 at its daily dollar-buying auction.

Bids totaled $125 million and the average price bid was TRY1.5312.

In addition to the daily auction of $30 million, the bank has the option to buy up to a further $30 million. It purchased an additional $22 million in these optional transactions Friday.

At 1100 GMT, the dollar traded at TRY1.5315, compared with TRY1.5370 Thursday.
