İSTANBUL (İHA) - The Turkish central bank Thursday bought $30 million at an average price of TRY1.5367 at its daily dollar-buying auction.

Bids totaled $104 million and the average price bid was TRY1.5378.

In addition to the daily auction of $30 million, the bank has the option to buy up to a further $30 million. The bank purchased an additional $30 million in the optional transactions Thursday.

At 1100 GMT, the dollar traded at TRY1.5370, compared with TRY5450 Wednesday.
