- Turkish Central Bank Buys $30M At TRY1.5397

ISTANBUL (IHA) - The Turkish central bank Monday bought $30 million at an average price of TRY1.5397 at its daily dollar-buying auction.

Bids totaled $70 million and the average price bid was TRY1.5402.

In addition to the daily auction of $30 million, the bank has the option to buy up to a further $30 million, but it didn't use this option Monday.

At 1100 GMT, the dollar traded at TRY1.5405, compared with TRY1.5420 Friday.
